Best YouTube Channels That Are Guaranteed to Motivate Self-Improvement

Do you find yourself searching for ways to improve your life? Nowadays, the best and fastest way to tap into some inspiration is to turn on YouTube. Seriously! YouTube can be an incredible self-improvement tool and source of motivation.

Whenever I’m stuck in a rut or need an extra boost of motivation in the area of personal growth, I turn to my favorite YouTube channels. Each one is packed with inspiring material guaranteed to pump you up, improve your self-esteem, and push you to the next level.

Growing your mind is truly empowering. That’s why I make it a daily practice to expose myself to anything that expands my mind or improves my life in some way. Whether that’s a book, seminar, article, documentary, or motivational YouTube video.

And now that we’re spending a lot more time at home due to social distancing, we have more free time on our hands and find ourselves wondering what to do with it.

Ed Mylett

The Ed Mylett Show

Ed Mylett gained fame as one of the top business leaders in the world and now he’s taking over social media. He uses his podcasts and YouTube videos to give inspirational life lessons and train future entrepreneurs. His interviews are not the standard ones. He talks with unique energy and makes you feel that he is in the room with you.

He interviews entrepreneurs and successful personalities in his videos and podcasts. Unlike other hosts, he does not interrupt his guests and wants his audience to benefit most from their stories.

Some of My Favorite Motivational Episodes:

Brené  Brown

Brené Brown is a professor, lecturer, and author of Daring Greatly and Braving the Wilderness (both #1 New York Times bestsellers). She has spent her career studying the concepts of courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy.

Even though Brené doesn’t have her own YouTube channel, she is such an amazing source of inspiration that I felt I needed to include her in my list. She has so many really great TED talks videos and interviews, that I had a hard time finding only 5 of my favorites to link below.

Be sure to do your own search for more of her powerfully motivating videos. And check out her filmed lecture Brené Brown: The Call to Courage on Netflix.

Some of My Favorite Motivational Videos:

Dr. Wayne Dyer

Dr. Dyer was an American self-help author, motivational speaker, and spiritual teacher. His first book, Your Erroneous Zones, is one of the best-selling books of all time.

He’s the person that introduced me to The Law of Attraction and manifesting the life you want. He’s one of my all-time favorite motivational teachers and is sure to inspire you to be your best self with his gentle Buddha-like nature. He’s incredible!

He’s another inspirational teacher that doesn’t have an actual YouTube channel, but there are literally thousands of videos from so many of his devoted followers of lectures, teachings, interviews, and guided meditations. If I didn’t include him in this list, I feel like I’d be cheating you out of one of the greatest, life-transforming motivational speakers of our time.

Some of My Favorite Motivational Videos:

Own

And of course, there’s Oprah’s YouTube Channel! My favorite videos on her channel are Super Soul Sessions and Super Soul Sundays. They’re like mini-episodes of The Oprah show that she’s so famous for. It’s the ultimate resource of interviews with the world’s most influential and inspirational people. You can’t go wrong no matter which video you land on.
